About the event
Twelve bands advance to finals, assuming a minimum of fifteen competing in prelims. If fourteen or fewer bands compete in prelims, all will advance to the evening finals.
Preliminary class champions perform in evening exhibition if not among the field of finalists.
Prelims awards are presented in each class for Outstanding General Effect, Outstanding Music Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance, 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place. From among all prelims competitors will be presented awards for Outstanding Percussion and Outstanding Color Guard.
Finals awards include 2nd thru 12th Place, Outstanding General Effect, Outstanding Music Performance, Outstanding Visual Performance, and Grand Champion trophies.
Preliminary performance scheduling will be based on multiple factors: 2025 event finalist status, previous participation and competitive status at the event, order of receipt of registration form, and geographic distance from the event site.
